“Michi” 道 “Path”
Path. The moment you start riding a bicycle, a path forms. There's a path someone else has traveled before, and you decide whether to follow it or create a new one. Without intending to, with just one pedal stroke, your own path emerges. You navigate steep paths with strength, ensuring you don't fall, while on gentle downhill paths, the road becomes clear effortlessly. Someone is running on the opposite shore. Will we meet somewhere? Riding through the trees, a vast expanse of land appears. Paths traveled or created by everyone seem to intertwine and connect on the ground. I want to discover more paths I've never traveled before. When riding a bicycle, such paths come into view.
道。自転車に乗り、走り始めた瞬間に道ができる。先に誰かが通った道があり、そこを通るか、または新しい道を作るか。作ろうと思わずひと漕ぎすれば自分の道ができてくる。険しい道は強く倒れないように漕ぎ、緩やかな下り道なら何もせずに道が見えてくる。向こう岸に誰かが走っている。どこかで会うのかな？木々の間を自転車で走り抜けると大きな大地の道が現れる。みんなが通ったり作ったりした道は今、地上で絡み合って繋がっているように見える。まだまだ通ったことのない道を見つけたい。自転車に乗っているとそんな道が見えてくる。
